General

Dr. med. Ron Julius Eppstein is a specialist in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and stands for the highest medical precision, aesthetic sensitivity, and many years of clinical experience. He obtained recognition as a specialist in 2012 after successfully completing his specialized medical training.

Before opening his own private clinic in December 2017, Dr. Eppstein worked at leading and renowned clinics for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. Most recently, he served as a senior physician at the private clinic on Karlshöhe, where he made significant contributions, particularly in the areas of abdominoplasty, liposuction, scar therapy, and aesthetic breast surgery.

Dr. Eppstein has a wide range of expertise across the entire spectrum of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery as well as Hand Surgery. His particular areas of focus include aesthetic breast surgery, scar therapy, liposuction, and abdominoplasty.

Thanks to his excellent language skills, he also advises his patients in English and French.

Dr. med. Ron Julius Eppstein is a full member of the DGPRÄC (German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons), the ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), the VDÄPC (Association of German Aesthetic-Plastic Surgeons) and the GÄCD (Society for Aesthetic Surgery Germany e.V.).

Study

Dr. Eppstein studied human medicine at the University of Tübingen from 1998 to 2004. His experimental doctoral thesis on atherosclerosis of blood vessels was awarded the highest possible grade, “magna cum laude,” early on underscoring his scientific aspirations.

Subsequently, during his first three years of professional life, he gained solid operational experience in general and trauma surgery at the Surgical Clinic Riedlingen under the direction of Chief Physician Dr. Richard Bader. This broad surgical training still forms the stable foundation of his precise operative technique today.

Qualification

Dr. Eppstein completed the first half of his specialist training at the renowned Clinic for Plastic Surgery, Hand and Burn Surgery at the University Hospital RWTH Aachen under the direction of Prof. Dr. Dr. Pallua. There, he deepened his expertise particularly in burn surgery and scar therapy. In parallel, he was scientifically active and published numerous articles as a co-author in these specialized fields.

The second half of his specialist training as a plastic surgeon led him to the Clinic for Plastic and Hand Surgery Pirmasens under the direction of Chief Physician Dr. Ute Deubel. Here, he specialized particularly in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, liposuction, abdominoplasty, and hand surgery. In 2012, he successfully completed his training as a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery there.

Subsequently, Dr. Eppstein worked as a specialist at Marienhospital Stuttgart, a specialized clinic for plastic facial surgery under the direction of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Gubisch. There, among other things, he successfully introduced an innovative method for treating hypertrophic scars using cryotherapy.

Most recently, he took on the position of Senior Physician at the private clinic on Karlshöhe before founding his own private clinic in December 2017 – with the aim of combining medical excellence, state-of-the-art procedures, and individual, trusting care at the highest level.
