Dr. med. Ron Julius Eppstein is a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery. Prior to opening his own private clinic in December 2017, Dr. Eppstein worked at leading, renowned clinics for plastic and aesthetic surgery.
Most recently, he successfully practised as the Senior Physician of a private clinic in Karlshöhe, focusing on tummy tucks, liposuction, scar treatment, and aesthetic breast surgery. Before this, Dr. Eppstein worked at the Clinic for Plastic Facial Surgery in Marienhospital, under guidance of the highly regarded physician Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Gubisch.
Dr. Eppstein obtained his accreditation as a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery in 2012 after his residency, where he trained as a plastic surgeon at the Clinic for Plastic and Hand Surgery in Pirmasens under the direction of head physician Dr. Ute Deubel.
Dr. med. Ron Julius Eppstein earned his doctoral degree after studying Human Medicine from 1998 to 2004 at the University of Tübingen, where his doctoral thesis on the topic of atherosclerosis of the blood vessels was awarded the grade of “magna cum laude”. He was able to gain his first profound experiences during the first three years after his studies, working in general and trauma surgery at the Riedlingen Surgical Clinic under head physician Dr. Richard Bader.
Dr. Eppstein was able to complete the first half of his residency under Prof. Dr. Pallua at the Clinic for Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, and Burns Unit at the RWTH Aachen University Hospital. At the same time, Dr. Eppstein gained comprehensive knowledge and experience of burn surgery and scar treatment. During this time, Dr. Eppstein was working in research, and co-authored numerous publications in the areas of burn surgery and scar treatment.
In order to specialise further, Dr. Eppstein completed the second half of his residency as a plastic surgeon at the Pirmasens Clinic for Plastic and Hand surgery under the guidance of head physician Dr. Ute Deubel. While there, he dedicated his attention to all areas of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, liposuction, tummy tucks, and hand surgery. He was able to successfully complete his training to become a Specialist for plastic and aesthetic surgery there in 2012.
He was able to gain a wealth of experience while working as a specialist under Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Gubisch at the Marienhospital Stuttgart, a clinic for plastic facial surgery, where he was able to successfully introduce a new treatment method for keloids using cold therapy.
Most recently, he successfully practised as the Senior Physician of a private clinic in Karlshöhe, focusing on tummy tucks, liposuction, scar treatment, and aesthetic breast surgery.
Dr. Eppstein has broad expertise across the entire spectrum of plastic and aesthetic surgery, as well as hand surgery. He now focuses on aesthetic breast surgery, scar treatment, liposuction, and tummy tuck surgery.
His comprehensive language abilities also allow Dr. Eppstein to competently advise, care for, and treat patients in English or French. Dr. med. Ron Julius Eppstein is a regular member of DGPRÄC (the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons), the ISAPS (the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), the VDÄPC (Association of German Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) and the GÄCD (Society for Aesthetic Surgery Germany e.V.).
